Lazar Elenovski

Lazar Elenovski was born on March 19, 1971 in Skopje, Macedonia. He is the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia from 2006-2008 and currently acts as president of a political party called Social Democratic Union (SDU).

Political Career[edit]

Lazar Elenovski became Minister of Defense in August 2006. He is a great supporter of Atlanticism and introduced Euro-Atlantic ideas into Macedonian politics and society from the mid-90s. In 1995, he founded the organisation Young Europeans for Security (YES).

Education[edit]

Elenovski graduated from the Faculty of Economy at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje.
