José María Fuster Muniesa

José María Fuster Muniesa, born in 1960 in Alcañiz, in the Spanish province of Teruel, is a Spanish senator representing Teruel for the Aragonese Party, Partido Aragonés (PAR), in the 10th Congress of Deputies.

Political Career[edit]

Fuster Muniesa started his political career as a municipal councilor in Alcañiz during the years 1987-1999. He has been a delegate of the Government of Aragon in the province of Teruel and a Senator for Teurel in the sixth legislature. He was also Secretary of Organization and Deputy Secretary General of the PAR. During his 10th term as a senator, José María Fuster Muniesa is the First Secretary in the Committee on Industry, Energy and Tourism and a member of the Committee on Environment and Climate Change, the Committee on Petitions and in the Commission of Joint Committees of Interior, Education and Sport and Industry, Energy and Toursim. José María Fuster Muniesa has mainly spent his professional career in the private sector. His work as Secretary of the Community Irrigation of Valmuel (1988-1996) and as Secretary of the Community Irrigation of the Canal Calanda-Alcañiz (1993-1996) should be highlighted. Fuster Muniesa was also Secretary General of the Business Organizations of Teruel, CET and CEPYME (2000-2005), and the Managing Director of Motorland Aragón SA (2005-2007). Nowadays, Fuster Muniesa works on policies concerning trade, tourism and leisure for a major business group from Teruel.

José María Fuster Muniesa has a BA in Education from the University of Zaragoza, Teruel Campus.
