Iñigo Henríquez de Luna Losada

Iñigo Henríquez de Luna Losada born in Madrid on the 1st October 1964, is a Spanish senator for the Madrid Assembly (Govern Organ of the Autonomous Community of Madrid). He is a member of the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career[edit]

Iñigo Henríquez de Luna Losada was elected as senator for the first time in the current term (10th). During the current term, he is acting as spokesman of the Public Administration and Finances Commission, a member of the Internal Affairs Commission and also member of the mixed commission for education, sport, internal affairs, industry, energy and tourism. Iñigo Henríquez de Luna Losada started his political career in the new generation of the People’s Party (Youth Organisation of the Party) as president for the district of Salamanca (Madrid). In 1997 he became President of the People’s Party for the Salamanca’s district. After that he worked in the city council of Madrid as chief for cultural services in the district of la Latina. He then became a councillor for the district of Salamanca (2003-2005) and of the district of Chamartín. In May 2011 he started on the regional level as spokesman of the People’s Party in the Assembly of Madrid (highest government organ in the government of the Autonomous Community of Madrid).

Education[edit]

The senator Iñigo Henríquez de Luna Losada holds a degree in Law for the University Complutense of Madrid and a B.A in Tax Law and another B.A in legal advisory services. He did a Master in Parliamentary Law, elections and legal studies (University Complutense de Madrid).
