Harry van Bommel
Harry van Bommel has been a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Socialist Party (SP) since May 19th, 1998. He was born on June 24th, 1962 in Helmond.
Political Career[edit]
From 1991 until 1994 Henry van Bommel was an employee at the Socialist Party headquarters. He was the police officer for the SP in the Dutch House of Representatives from 1991 until 1994. Then from 1994 until 1998 van Bommel was a member of the city council for the SP as a representative of the Amsterdam municipality. He was the first SP member in the Amsterdam city council. Furthermore, since May 19th, 1998 Harry van Bommel was a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Socialist Party. He focuses on Foreign Affairs and European Affairs.
Education[edit]
Harry van Bommel did a degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam from 1987 until 1994.
