Guillermo Collarte Rodríguez

Collarte Guillermo Rodriguez was born in Ourense in 1954 and is a member of the People's Party.

Political Career[edit]

He worked as a technician for the Government until his positions of political appointment. First as Deputy Director General of Ports and Highways, Deputy Director General, and then as Director of Programming and Investment, in the Department of Health and Director of Buildings, Equipment and Educational Services of the Department of Education. In 1995 he left the Xunta de Galicia and moved to Madrid, where he held the position of manager of Arproma, which is the company responsible for planning the Community of Madrid. In 2003 he was appointed general director of Grupo Tragsa.

He also held various positions in private companies,such as, as the technical director of the Central Area, as CEO of the company or INMOGESTION in 2006, and as division manager in ISOLUX. He was a councillor in the city of Ourense, and is manager of the public company Xestur SC. In the general elections in Spain in 2011 he was elected deputy for the province of Ourense.

Education[edit]

He qualified as a Civil Engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid
