Gregorio Ramón Medina Tome

Gregorio Ramón Medina Tome, born 24 October 1960 in Hermigua, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is a Spanish senator representing La Gomera (Canary Islands) in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Medina Tome is a member of the Spanish Socialist Worker’s Party, Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE).

Political Career[edit]

Medina Tome started his political career as the deputy mayor of Hermigua in 1987, a position he held until 1993. From 1999 to this day, he is the First Vice-President of the Cambildo de la Gomera. In the Spanish Senate, he is the Second Vice-President for the Committee on Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Second Secretary for the Development Commission. Gregorio Ramón Medina Tome is a member of the Committee on the Environment and Climate Change, the Commission of Rogatory and the Joint Commission of Committees of Interior, Education and Sport, and Industry, Energy and Tourism.

Education[edit]

Gregorio Ramón Medina Tome has a degree in Exact Sciences from the University of La Laguna.
