Greenhouse Emissions[edit]

Greenhouse emissions are the gases that, when released into the atmosphere, contribute to the greenhouse effect by absorbing infrared radiation. The most abundant greenhouse gases in Earth’s atmosphere are water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. Human- sourced emission of harmful gases is limited by the Kyoto Protocol and the Cancun Agreement.
