Dorina Bianchi

Dorina Bianchi was born on June 3rd 1966 in Pisa. She is a doctor and an Italian politician.

Political career[edit]

From 2001 to 2008, she was a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies for the centre-right Party La Casa delle Libertà. She then joined the centre-left Partito Democratico. From 2008 to 2013 she was a member of the Italian Senate for the Partito Democratico. In the general elections of 2013 she was elected in the Italian Chambres of Deputies for the district of Calabria for the Popolo della Libertà.

Additionally, she is also member of the Commission on Enviromental and Public Works and of the Commission on Mafia and other Criminal Organizations. After the split of Popolo della Libertà in November 2013, she joined the centre-right Party Nuovo Centrodestra, led by Angelino Alfano.

Education[edit]

She has a Master degree in Medicine with a specilization in neuroradiology.
