Athanasios Germanidis

Athanasios Germanidis was born in Tropeouchos, Florina in 1951. He is a Greek politician and retired high school teacher.

Political Career[edit]

From 1978 until 1988 he was a member of KKE (Greek Communist Party). Following this he became a member of SYNASPISMOS (Coalition). He was the Synaspismo’s secretary in the prefecture of Florina for eighteen years. He also served for four years as a member in the Municipality of Florina , where he was the president in the Municipality’s Council for two years. He served twice as a president in ELME (Local Council of Secondary Schools). He also served as a president for seven years at the Children’s Care Center in Florina.

Education Career[edit]

He graduated in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Athens.
