Andrés Gil García

Andrés Gil García, born in 1956, is a Spanish senator representing the Spanish province of Burgos (Castilla y León) in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Gil Garíca is a member of the Spanish Socialist Worker’s Party, Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE).

Political Career[edit]

In the Spanish Senate, Gil García is the Second Secretary of several committees and commissions: the Committee on Education and Sport, the Commission of Local Authorities, and the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Parliamentary Control of the Corporation of the Spanish Radio-Television, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE). Furthermore, he is a speaker for the Information Society within the Committee on Industry, Energy and Toursim and a member of the Joint Commission of Committees of Interior, Education and Sport, and Industry, Energy and Toursim. Finally he was one of the main speakers in the presentation of the joint study on Risk for the Use of the Web by Minors.
