Ana Lourdes González GarcÃa
Ana Lourdes González García, born 24 September 1969 in Ribafrecha, is a Spanish senator representing the region of La Rioja in the 10th Congress of Deputies. González García is a member of the Spanish People’s Party, Partido Popular (PP).
Political Career[edit]
González García was a city councilor representing Ribafrecha council from 1991 to 1999, when she was apointed mayor of the city, a position that she has held until recently. Furthermore, she has been an MP for the Parliament of La Rioja since 2003. In the Spanish Senate, she is the current deputy speaker for the Commission of Rogatory. She is also a member of the Committee on Employment and Social Security, the Commitee on Finance and Government and the General Committee of the Autonomous Communities.
