María de la O Ares Martínez-Fortún is a Spanish politician, part of the People's Party. She is currently a deputy at the Spanish Congress after being elected in the last general Elections that took place in 2011. She was born in Calviá on July 27th, 1981.

Political Career

María de la O Ares Martínez-Fortún career has been mainly focus on the private sector. She has been an accountant in several companies and also the director of the Management and Accountancy department of a hotel company. However, her political activity began to gain a bigger role as she became a project coordinator at the Calvia city council. She has been a deputy since 2011, when she was elected as a deputy by the Balearic Islands.

Education

María de la O Ares Martinez-Fortún has a Bachelor in Business. She has also studied International Trade at the École Superiore du Commerce of France and holds certificates in English, German and French.
