María de la O Ares Martínez-Fortún is a Spanish politician for the People's Party. She is currently a Deputy at the Spanish Congress after being elected in the last general elections that took place in 2011. She was born in Calviá on July 27th, 1981.

María de la O Ares Martínez-Fortún's career has been mainly focused on the private sector. She was an accountant in several companies and also the Director of the Management and Accountancy Department of a hotel company.
