Zdenek Bezecny

Zdenek Bezecny (born on 1st December 1971) is a Czech historian, university professor and politician. He has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected to the TOP09 party.

Education

He qualified in the field of Czech Language and History from the Faculty of Education at University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice in 1994. In 2002 he defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. He has taught at the University of South Bohemia since 1994.

Political career

He has been member of the Permanent Commission on Oversight over the work of the Security Information Service since 12. 12. 2013.
