Viera Mazúrová was born on the 28th of May 1961. She has become a member of the Slovak National Council representing the Smer-SD. She is a verifier of the Committee on Culture and Media and a substitute member of the Committee on European Affairs. Mazúrová is also mayor of Oravská Lesná.
