Tuija Brax was born on the 6th of January, 1965 in Helsinki. She is a member of the Finnish parliament and has been since 1995 representing the Green Parliamentary Party.

Tuija Brax started her political career as the Secretary for the Green Parliamentary Group until she was voted in as a Member of Parliament in 1995. In 1992 she was elected to the City Council of Helsinki and stayed on the council until 2000. She was the Minister of Justice between 2007-2011.

Education[edit]

She was educated at the University of Helsinki and gained a Masters of Law in 1990.
