Sophie De Wit (born 28 August 1973 in Deurne) is a Belgian (Flemish) politician and is affiliated to the New Flemish Alliance party N-VA.

Political career

She was elected as a member of the Flemish Parliament in 2009. On 6 July 2010 she became a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives. In May 2014 De Wit was re-elected as a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives. Since 2013 Sophie De Wit has been mayor of Aartselaar.

Education

Sophie De Wit studied Law at the Catholic University of Leuven (1996).
