Silvio Schembri is member of the Labour Party parliamentary group; he was appointed for the Twelfth Parliament in March 2013.

Political career[edit]

Additionally, Silvio Schembri is the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, as well as a member of the Foreign and European Affairs Committee and a member of the National Audit Office Accounts Committee.

Lastly, he is engaged within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) and within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (PAUM).
