Ronald Sörensen (born on May 4th, 1947 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch politician. He is a member of the Dutch Senate for the Party for Freedom (PVV).

Political Career

From 2002 to 2011 Ronal Sörensen was a member of the municipal council of Rotterdam on behalf of Livable Rotterdam, as well as faction leader from 2002 until 2010, and from 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the States-Provincial of South Holland on behalf of Livable Zuid-Holland. Sörensen became candidate for the PVV at the 2011 Dutch Senate election. On June 7th, 2011 he was installed as a member of the Senate. In the Senate he is the spokesman of eeducation, culture and science, and interior/general affairs.

Education

Ronald Sörensen studied History at the University of Utrecht.
