Pia Dijkstra was born on the 9th of December 1954 in Franeker. She is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives on behalf of the Democrats 66 Party. (D66).

Political career

Before her political career, Dijkstra was a radioproducer, programme maker and presenter for the radio and television.

Education

Dijkstra studied theology at the University of Amsterdam, although she did not complete it.
