Peter van Dijk

Pieter "Peter" van Dijk (born on December 28th, 1952 in Goes) is a Dutch politician. He is a member of the Dutch Senate for the Party for Freedom (PVV).

Political Career

Since June 7th, 2011 Peter van Dijk has been a member of the Dutch Senate for the Party for Freedom and the leader the States-Provincial of Zeeland since March 10th, 2011. He was a member in the municipal council of Goes for the Christian Democratic Appeal between 1981 and 1990.

Education

Peter van Dijk studied Law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1977 until 1978. From 1973 to 1974 he went to the Royal Institute for the Navy in Den Helder.

Special Achievements

Van Dijk was made a Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau on February 11th, 2002.
