Peter Bleser is a member of the CDU/CSU and was born July 23, 1952 in Brachtendorf, Germany. He works in agriculture.

Political Career

Bleser has been a member of the German Bundestag since 1990. From 1990 to 1998, he was a regular member of the Committee on the Affairs of the European Union; from 1990 to 2002 he was a substitute member of the Defense Committee and from 1990 to 2002 a member of various parliamentary groups: the German-Russian Parliamentary Group, the German-French Parliamentary Group, and the German-Brazilian Parliamentary Group. Between 2003 and 2005, he was an Animal Welfare Officer of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group. From 2005 to 2011, Bleser was the chairman of the working group for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the CDU /CSU parliamentary group.

Since July 2006, he has been the treasurer of the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate. From 1990 to 2011, he was a full member of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection. Since February 2011, he has been a parliamentary state secretary at the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection. Since September 2013, Bleser is the chairman of the National Group of Rhineland-Palatinate in the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.

Education

From 1967 to 1970, Bleser underwent professional training to become an agricultural assistant in the family business. From 1971 to1972 and 1977 to 1978 , he visited the Agricultural College of Mayen. In 1978, he passed his master examination and became a certified master agriculturalist.
