Peter Aldous MP is a member of parliament for the constituency of Waveney, hhe is a member of the Conservative Party and has been in office since 2010.

Biography

Peter Aldous was born in Ipswich and has lived in North Suffolk most of his life. Before entering Parliament, he helped look after the family pig and arable farm outside Halesworth and worked as a Chartered Surveyor in Norwich and Ipswich. He has been both a Waveney District Councillor and a Suffolk County Councillor, where he was Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group. Peter relaxes by following most sports and has been an Ipswich Town season ticket holder for many years. A keen squash player, when not working he looks to be on court most evenings at the Beccles Sports Centre. Peter was elected Member of Parliament for Waveney in 2010.
