Paulo Mota Pinto

Paulo Cardoso Correia da Mota Pinto was born on November 18th, 1966. He is a university professor and currently serves as a deputy at the Portuguese National Assembly.

Political Career

He was elected by the electoral circle of Lisbon through the Social Democratic Party to serve as a deputy on the XII Legislature (2011-2015). During the previous Legislature, he was elected to represent the electoral circle of Coimbra. Presently, he takes part in various Parliamentary Commissions including President of the Commission for European Affairs.

Education

Paulo Mota Pinto holds a degree in Law and a Masters and PhD in Juridical Sciences.

Further information

Paulo Mota Pinto was a Judge at the Constitutional Court between 1998 and 2007.
