Paschal Donohoe

Paschal Donohoe was born on September 29th, 1974 in Dublin, Ireland.

Political Career

He is an Irish Fine Gael politician. He was first elected to Dublin City in 2004, for the Cabra-Glasnevin electoral area, lately in 2007 he was elected to Seanad Eirann on the Administrative Panale and in October of the same year he was appointed to be as Fine Gael Seanad spokesperson on Transport and the Marine. Paschal Donohoe was elected as a Teatchta Dala for the Dublin Central constituency at the 2011 general election. On 2008 he was appointed Chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Irealn’s Future in Europe by Enda Kenny. In July 2014 he was appointed as Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport.

Education

Paschal was educated at St. Declan’s CBS, Cabra. He obtained his degree in Politics and Economics from Trinity College, Dublin. Moreover he served as Secretary of the University Philosophical Society during his period at the Trinity College.
