Ondřej Benešík (born on 27th June 1976) is Czech politician. He has been member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected on the slate of KDU party.

Education

He was studying English and German at the Academy of J.A. Comenius in Uherske Hradiste between 1994 and 1996 and Business Studies at the European Polytechnic Institute in Kunovice between 1996 and 1999. He completed his education with European politics studies at the Faculty of Social Science at Masaryk University (graduated in 2010 and got his Mgr.).

Political career

Ondřej Benešík has been Committee on European Affairs member since 12. 12. 2013 and Committee on European Affairs chairman, since 19. 12. 2013. Mr. Benešík has been also a member of Podvybor pro evropske fondy a preshranicni spolupraci (czech name) since 17. 4. 2014 and Podvybor pro evropske fondy a preshranicni spolupraci (czech name) since 7. 5. 2014. He has been also a member of Permanent Delegation to the Parliament. Assembly of the Council of Europe since 12. 12. 2013 and member of Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE since 13. 2. 2014. He has been member of Political Group of the Christian and Democratic Union - Czechoslovak People's Party since 31. 10. 2013.
