Nikolaos Tagaras

Nikolaos Tagaras was born in Chiliomodi Korinthias in 1956. He is a Greek politician and Civil Engineer.

Political Career

He was elected MP for the prefecture of Korinthias in the Parliamentary Elections on the 6th of May 2012 and reelected on the 17th of June 2012.

Education Career

He is a graduate from the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens.

Notable Work

After graduating from university (1979), he served his military service in the airforce. Since 1981 he has been working as a civil engineer.
He has been involved for many years with Local Government. Specifically, he was elected president of Chiliomodi 1987 – 1994), mayor of Tenea (1999 – 2002) and prefect of Korinthias (2003 – 2012). All these years, he has served as a member of local and national organizations, interest groups and collective actions.
