Nahima Lanjri was born on 17 February 1964 in Borgerhout (Belgium). She is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives as a member of the Flemish Christian Democratic Party (CD&V).

Political Career

Nahima Lanjri is a former councillor in Antwerp and a former member of the county council in hometown Borgerhout (Antwerp). Currently, she holds a national parliamentary seat in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish Christian Democrats, and has done since June 13th 2010. Nahima Lanjri is an active member in the commission on social affairs.

Education

She holds a Master’s degree in languages and translation (Dutch, French, Spanish).
