Mitja Horvat

Mitja Horvat (born September 24, 1961) is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Party of Miro Cerar (Slovenian: Stranka Mira Cerarja - SMC).

Political Career[edit]

He was elected to the National Assembly in 2014.

Professional Career[edit]

In 1987, Horvat started as an assistant at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana and went on to become a professor, a position he currently holds.

Education[edit]

Mitja Horvat graduated in 1985, obtained master’s thesis in 1990 and finished doctoral thesis in 1998 in the field of law at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana.
