Miroslav Číž

Miroslav Číž is the Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. He stood a seat for SMER-SD. He was born on 11. 2. 1954.

Political career

He is the vice-chairman of Klub SMER–SD, chairman of the Mandate and Immunity Committee, member of the Comittee on Culture and Media and substitute member of the Committee on European Affairs and the Committee on European Affairs. Since 2002 he is the member of the National Council of Slovak Republic. In 2006 he became also the Vice-President of the National Council. In 2010 he candidated unsuccessfully to become the President of the Naitonal Council.

Education

He graduated at the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
