Mikko Alatalo was born on the 1st of May 1951 in Kuivaniemi, Finland. He is a Finish member of parliament who has represented the Centre Party since 2003. He is mostly famous for his music career and has released over 50 records. Mikko Alatalo has worked as a journalist for the newspaper Kaleva, TV newscasts as well as for the Ajankohtainen Kakkonen. He has also produced and hosted several TV entertainment shows, such as Iltatähti and Hittimittari.

He has been a member of the Centre Party since 2003. In 2008 he became a member of the City Council of Tampere. Present memberships in committees:

Education[edit]

In 1986 he attended Communications Studies at the San Francisco State University. In 2011 he obtained a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Tampere.
