Michèle André was born in 1947 and has been initially working as a director of medical-social structures. She has been a member of the Senate of France since 2001 for the costituency of Puy-de-Dôme. She's a member of the Senate Socialist Group.
Political Career
Michèle André has been municipal and regional councilor for Clermont-Ferrand from 1983 to 2001. From 1988 to 1991 she was State Secretery specialised in women rights and from 2001 to 2004 vice president of the General Council of Puy-de-Dome responsible for culture, sport and associative life.
Michèle André is Vice-President of the Finance Commission and Regional Councellor for Puy-de-Dôme.
