Mary White (November 24, 1948) is an Irish politician and businesswoman.

Education

She has got a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Politics from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Architectural Technology from the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Political Career

She was elected in Irish Senate in 2002 for Fianna Fáil party, and then re-elected in 2007 and in 2011. She is the Fianna Fáil spokesperson on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation in Seanad Éireann.

Further informations

Mary White is known for her commitment to advancing the peace process in the North of Ireland, having meetings with ex-prisoners of both sides. She has approached to childcare provision, discrimination against our ageing fellow citizens, suicide prevention and women in enterprise.
