Marjana Kotnik Poropat (born January 27, 1944) is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the The Democratic Party of Pensioners of Slovenia (Slovenian: Demokratična stranka upokojencev Slovenije, also known by the acronym DeSUS).

Political Career

She was first elected to the Slovenian National Assembly in 2011 and she is currently serving the second term.

In 1998 she was also the Councilor of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Ruše.

Education

Marjana Kotnik Poropat graduated from the College of Law in Maribor in 1979 and she obtained BA in Law at the University of Ljubljana in 1988.
