Marija Rapo was born on 8th September 1948 in Ivanjska near Banja Luka, Bosnia and Hercegovina. She is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska demokratska zajednica) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) during its seventh term.

Political Career

Rapo’s term of office began on 25 January 2013 as Milijan Brkić's substitute. She is a member of the Labour, Retirement System and Social Partnership Committee and a member of the Committee on Croats outside the Republic of Croatia.

Education

Rapo graduated in Zagreb at the College of Health, school of nursing.
