Maria José Quintela Ferreira Castelo Branco was born on July 28th, 1958. She currently serves as Deputy for the Portuguese National Assembly. She practices as as geologist and professor.

Political Career

She was elected by the electoral circle of Porto through the Social Democratic Party for the XII Legislature. She is also Deputy to the Municipal Assemby of Amarante.

Education

Maria José Castelo Branco is a Geology graduate. She holds a Master in Environment Sciences - specialitization on teaching , and another Master in Educative Administration. Plus, she holds a PhD in Educational Sciences.
