Education[edit]

Benda studied at the Mathematics and Physics faculty of Charles University from 1988 to 1990; however he did not complete his studies because of the revolutionary climate at this time. He tried once again to complete a degree in philosophy in 1992 at the Philosophical Faculty of the same university, but due to his busy political activities he was unsuccessful . He states that his disadvantage at university was his poor knowledge of foreign languages. He graduated at the Faculty of Law University of West Bohemia in Plzeň in 2008.
