Mr. Mallia attended St Elizabeth School, Sliema and the Sliema and Gzira primary schools. He attended his secondary education at Naxxar Secondary/Technical School, he continued his studies at the Royal University of Malta where he graduated as a Legal Procurator in 1973. Following that he attended the University of Malta, graduating as a Notary Public in 1978 and Doctor of Laws in 1979. He lectured Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of Malta.

Emmanuel Mallia is the current Minister of Home Affairs and National Security of Malta. He was born in Sliema, Malta.


Political career[edit]

Mallia contested the Maltese General Elections 2013 for the first time on the Labour Party ticket. He was elected on both districts. Today he is serving as Minister for Internal affairs and National Security in Joseph Muscat's cabinet Minister of Home Affairs and National Security
