Krystyna Szumilas

Krystyna Szumilas was born on the 28th June 1956 in Kurdów, Poland. She is a Polish politician and a member of Parliament (IV, V, VI and VII cadency).

Political Career

She was a member of the Freedom Union, and since 2001 has been a member of the Civic Platform. In January 2006, she became the spokesperson responsible for education and science for the Shadow PO. From 2001 to 2007, on behalf of the PO he held the parliamentary seat for the fourth and fifth term. She is a member of Parliament for the Gliwice district.

Education

In 1983 she graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Silesia in Katowice. In 1988, she completed her postgraduate studies from the University of Silesia in the field of computer science. At the same university in 1999, she completed postgraduate studies in the field of local government. In the same year in the School of Management, University of Silesia also completed postgraduate studies in the field of human resources management.
