Kristof Calvo (GROEN) Member of the Belgian Parliament

Kristof Calvo (30 January 1987) is a Belgian (Flemish) politician and a member of the Flemish green party GROEN. He was born to a Spanish father and a Belgian mother.

Political Career[edit]

From 2007 to 2010, Calvo was the leader of the Jong Groen. In 2010, at the age of 23, he became the youngest direct-elected representative in Belgian history. Since October 2012, Calvo has been a member of the city council of Mechelen.

Education[edit]

In 2009 he graduated with a Master's degree in Political Communication from the University of Antwerp.
