Joseba Andoni Agirretxea Urresti
Joseba Andoni Agirretxea Urresti is a Spanish member of the PNV (Vasc Nationalist Party). Currently, he holds a position in the Spanish Parliament, or "Consejo de los Diputados" for the district of Vasc Country.
Political Career
He was born in Ondarroa, Bizkaia on August the 6th 1966. After studying Basque Philology in the University of Deusto, he worked for some time as a Basque professor and as a jouralist for EITB (Vasc Radio Television)and afterwards he started getting involved in Basque politics. He first worked as city councillor for the townhall of Ondaorroa from 1987 to 1990, and then became member of the Nacional Assembly of PNV, holding several positions within the party after that and actively participating as spokesperson in the Communication and Media department.
