José Segura Clavell

José Segura Clavell, born 4 July 1944 in Barcelona, Cataluña, is a member of the Spanish Chamber of Deputies representing Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Vázquez Morillo is a member of the Spanish Socialist Worker’s Party, Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) and he is a member of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Grupo Socialista (GS) within the Chamber of Deputies.

Political Career

Segura Clavell has been an MP for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) from Sevilla, Andalucía, during the VI, VII, VIII, IX and the X legislatures. In the Spainish Chamber of Deputies he is a member of the Defense Committee, a spokesperson for the Committee on Industry, Energy and Tourism, and assigned to the Joint Committee for the European Union, a member of the Comission for the Study of Climate Change and a rapporteur of the Communication in charge of relations with the Nuclear Safety Council.


Education

Segura Clavell is a doctor in Chemistry, a professor of Thermodynamics at the Official School of Nautical Studies of Tenerife, a professor of Applied Physics at the University of La Laguna. Finally, he is an author of books and journals in their specialty.
