José Luis Ábalos Meco (born 9 December 1959) is a member of te Spanish Socialist Working Party from Valencia, a branch of the Spanish Socialist Working Party (PSPV-PSOE coalition) and Secretary for the Ministry of Environment. Since 2009, he is a member of the Spanish Parliament, or "Consejo de los Diputados" for the district of Valencia.

José Luis Ábalos Meco (born 9 December 1959) is a member of te Spanish Socialist Working Party from Valencia, a branch of the Spanish Socialist Working Party (PSPV-PSOE coalition) and Secretary for the Ministry of Environment. Since 2009, he is a member of the Spanish Parliament, or "Consejo de los Diputados" for the district of Valencia.

Political Career

He was born in Torrente, Valencia, on December the 9th, 1960. Having spent some time committed to his career as school teacher, he then moved into politics. In 1981 he enrolled in the PSPV and since 1983, he has worked in different positions within the government of Spain, the government of Valencia and the Townhall of Valencia city.
