His first two albums were a huge success: Room for Squares (2001), Heavier Things (2003), both achieving multi-platinum status. In 2003, with the single ‘Your Body is a Wonderland’ he won a Grammy Award for Best male Pop Vocal Performance. As well as music, Mayer has tried his hand at comedy, graphic design, television hosting and writing.
