Jasper van Dijk was born on the 20th of April 1971 in Jutphaas. He is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives on behalf of the Socialist Party (SP).

Political career[edit]

In 1998, he worked as a civil servant at the municipality of Amsterdam. Between 1999 and 2003 he was an employee in the SP fraction House of Representatives, where he worked for the committee on Education, Culture and Science.
