Jakša Baloević was born on 15 October 1955 in Supetar on the island of Brač, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) and a member of the New Wave - Development Party (Croatian: Novi Val - Stranka razvoja).

Political Career

His parliamentary mandate began in December 2011.On 5 April 2014 the MP ceased to be an independent MP and became member of New Wave - Development Party. His main parliamentary functions is being a chairperson of the Deputy Club of the Democratic Centre, New Wave and Independent MPs Petar Baranović and Natalija Martinčević. He was elected from the independent list - dr. sc. Ivan Grubišić.

Education

Completed his post secondary school education at the School of Professional Higher Education in Textile and Apparel in Zagreb becoming an Apparel Engineer.
