Jacek Brzezinka

Jacek Brzezinka – (born on 30th August 1966 in Bytom, Poland) – is a Polish politician and local government activist and a Member of Parliament (VI and VII term).

Political Career

In the 90s he was a councillor of Bytom. He was reelected in 2006 and was appointed as a vice chairman of the city. In 1993-1994 he was chairman of the Liberal-Democratic Congress in Bytom. Between 1994-1998 he was a member of Liberty Union (Unia Wolności). Since March 2002 he has bee a president of the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) in Bytom. He is co-founder of a local association Agreement for Bytom.

In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he obtained a parliamentary seat from the Civic Platform list. He was reelected in 2011.

Education

He graduated from the Faculty of Mining at the Silesian University of Technology (Department of Mining and Geology) and obtained a Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
