Július Brocka (born on the 1st of January, 1957 in Modra) is a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. He stood a seat for KDH in the Parliament. He is also former Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Family.

Political career

1990 - 1992 - Member of the Slovak National Council elected by KDH and the Chairman of the KDH Group 1992 - 1994 - Member of Parliament elected by KDH 1994 - Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Family in the government of Joseph MoravCik 1994 - 1998 - Member of Parliament for KDH Deputy Chairman of the Finance and Budget 1998 - 2002 - Member of Parliament elected SDK; Vice-Chairman of the Finance and Budget 2002 - 2006 - Member of Parliament for KDH; Chairman of the Committee for Social Affairs and Housing; Member of the Permanent Delegation of the National Council of the Slovak Republic to the Assembly of Western European Union 2006 - 2010 - Member of Parliament for KDH, Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Conflicts of Interest and the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Budget and Currency 2010 - Member of Parliament for KDH, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Social Affairs

Education

In 1981 he graduated at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava.
