Ioannis Zerdelis

Ioannis Zerdelis was born in Lesvos in 1956. He is a Greek politician and Pathologist.

Political Career

He was elected for the first time in June 2012, as MP for Lesbos on the ballot of SYRIZA.

Education Career

He studied Medicine and Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Notable Work

He was president of the Society of Rural Doctors of Lesbos 1985-1986, vice president of the Federation of Associations Lesbian Attica (OLSA) and a founding member (1987-1990). He was a representative of the National Medical Association in 1994 and 2012 and a member of the Board of Medical Association Lesvos. He was also departmental advisor to the "New Page" for two four-year periods (1998-2006) and alderman Mytilene in 2006-2010.
