Husein Kavazović was born July 3, 1964, in Jelovče Selu. He is a Bosnian Islamic cleric and the new Bosnian Grand Mufti. He is the successor of Mustafa Cerić.

He first worked as an imam and hen served as mufti of Tulza between 19993 to 2012. He is an elected member of the Isalmic Community of Bosnia-Herzegovina and member of the Council.
